Galatasaray Deputy Chairman Erden Timur speaks out: Whoever is manipulating this should be exposed

Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş. Deputy Chairman Erden Timur held a press conference at the yellow-red team's Antalya training camp.

Responding to questions from members of the press, Erden Timur is expected to make statements regarding the footage allegedly belonging to a meeting at the Central Referee Committee.

Here are Timur's statements:

"LET ALL DETAILS OF VAR RECORDS BE SHARED"

"The account that released the footage yesterday had different connections in the past. Something is being published through an account that is even said to be linked to FETÖ. It is cut, edited, and only a portion is released. Both those whose rights are violated and those whose rights are usurped are saying the same things. Objective comments are not being made in the media. Executives from different teams are making much harsher statements. Serious pressure is being applied to referees and the TFF. The TFF cannot stand firm. Their actions today, and the release of the entire footage, are commendable. Let not only the records of the positions where the referee was called to the monitor be shared, but all details of the VAR records. This is what we want. Let all VAR records and seminars be disclosed; let it be transparent."

"AFTER EVERY MISTAKE, STATEMENTS ARE MADE AS IF THEY ARE THE VICTIMS"

"There is a team that has truly been favored and has gained 8-10 points in the 90+ minutes. After every mistake, statements are made as if they are the victims. This much manipulation to find reasons for championships that could not be won is taking this business to a completely different point. We cannot solve this issue until this empire of anxiety and fear collapses, and until the persecution carried out through psychological pressure on people ends. For this, transparency is needed. Let us act bravely for Turkish football. The only solution is to make everything transparent. Otherwise, dirty hands are leaking information from the inside. It goes from there to America. A dirty organization brings it here. The only solution for these pollutions to end is transparency."

"FENERBAHÇE PLAYERS DID WRONG"

"The fans should not have entered the pitch. There were incidents during the match, water bottles being thrown... It shouldn't have happened. It happened in the Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe match, too. It also happened at the Fenerbahçe Stadium. These things, which are intense, should definitely not happen. Likewise, even when a fan who enters the pitch has been neutralized... Let's leave football aside; you don't hit a person who has fallen down... We gave the same reactions regarding Halil Umut Meler. It is wrong for fans to enter, but it is very wrong to hit them and kick them in the head when they have already been neutralized. The Court of Cassation even considers a shoe a weapon when someone is hit in the head with it. A cleat is something else entirely. The Minister of Justice is making a very correct statement, saying, 'Everyone should be tried fairly.' If it were our players, we would never speak. Club statements, public pressure... Things are being said against the Minister of Justice. These are truly wrong."

THERE IS INTENSE PRESSURE

"Referrals are not being made due to pressure. There is a rumor that the number of players to be referred will be low. You cannot cherry-pick from among the players involved! Whoever is involved, you refer them! The issue has nothing to do with unsportsmanlike conduct! We are living in a drama where we laugh at our own misery. Tremendous pressure is being applied to prevent it. The fact that players are negatively affected is another matter; we understand them. But someone running and delivering a roundhouse kick to a person on the ground, with cleats... These are separate issues. While the PFDK should have made the referrals in two days, these things are happening because of this pressure. We will see how the PFDK makes the referrals. Even politicians are being pressured. Are they putting such pressure on the TFF before the elections? The legal thing is for everyone to be referred; the decision belongs to the PFDK. In self-defense, you don't respond to a slap with 50 punches! Someone lying on the ground does not pose a danger to you anyway. Maybe someone running past you is going to hold someone back! Delivering a roundhouse kick is not self-defense! Let us be fair as a society. Much worse things happened, but we didn't speak after the Antalyaspor match. The broadcaster doesn't show the footage, then shows it on another program. I have to speak from the middle."

WE HEARD THE NUMBER OF REFERRALS IS 3

"MANY OF OUR PLAYERS, INCLUDING ZIYECH, HAVE SUITORS"

"We have many players who have suitors at the end of the season. Ziyech is one of them. Player transfers are an organizational matter. The scouting team creates a list, and our coach makes a selection from that list. As executives, our duty is to be able to bring the selected player at the right price. Seferovic was a player everyone liked, but he didn't fit us. We paid him back with a cost of around 1 million Euros. Angelino didn't work out either, and we paid 750 thousand Euros and moved on. Many of our players, including Ziyech, have suitors. I hope they will leave by generating profit."

"I DO NOT THINK FENERBAHÇE WILL WITHDRAW FROM THE LEAGUE"

"I do not think Fenerbahçe will withdraw from the league. Of course, that is their own decision."

FENERBAHÇE'S FOREIGN REFEREE PROPOSAL

"Since you say let a foreign referee officiate the Super Cup, but there is no sending people to a foreign referee's house, no cornering them in a shopping mall.
