At Galatasaray, Victor Osimhen was substituted at halftime due to an ankle injury sustained in the first half. Noa Lang, who entered the game in the second half, cut his finger after colliding with an advertising board and was replaced by Icardi in the 80th minute.

In the 45+4th minute, Uğurcan Çakır saved a penalty from Mohamed Salah. The national goalkeeper made significant saves throughout the 90 minutes.
