Galatasaray fans head to Kadıköy: Erden Timur makes bold statement ahead of Fenerbahçe derby

Galatasaray fans, who gathered at the Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex RAMS Park, were boarded onto IETT buses following security screenings.

The 2,079 visiting team fans who will watch the match at Ülker Stadium set off for Kadıköy in a group.

The fans, who last attended the derby held on February 23, 2020, during the second half of the 2019-2020 season, will be by their team's side for today's match as well. The fans are traveling to the Kadıköy away game after a 3-year and 10-month hiatus.

GREAT INTEREST IN ERDEN TİMUR

Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Deputy Chairman Erden Timur met with the fans traveling to the Kadıköy away game.

Timur, who got out of his vehicle after stopping on the side of the road while entering the stadium, was met with a great show of affection from the yellow-red fans. The fans expressed their love and trust to Erden Timur, whom they embraced.

Making a statement regarding the Fenerbahçe derby, Timur said, "May we be the ones who deserve it. Hopefully, the one who deserves it wins."
