Having won their first 6 matches and matched the best season start in Süper Lig history, Galatasaray will take the field today at home against Kasımpaşa in pursuit of a record. The match, which will start at 19.00 at RAMS Park, will be officiated by Oğuzhan Çakır.
In the 7th week of the Süper Lig, league leaders Galatasaray will host Kasımpaşa.
Having won their first 6 league matches, Galatasaray aims to defeat Kasımpaşa to achieve the best start in club history.
The Yellow-Reds, who made their best season start in the 2009-10 season under Frank Rijkaard with 6 wins in 6 matches, have repeated this success under Okan Buruk and will break the record with 7 wins in 7 matches if they defeat Kasımpaşa.
There are no missing players for Galatasaray ahead of this match, except for Hakim Ziyech, who is injured.
Considering the intense match schedule, it is highly likely that head coach Okan Buruk will rest Kaan Ayhan, Barış Alper, and Mertens today.
In their place, Jelert, Sallai, and Icardi are expected to play, and it is anticipated that the Argentine star and Osimhen will be on the pitch together for the first time.
Probable lineups for both teams
Galatasaray: Muslera, Jelert, Sanchez, Abdülkerim, Jakobs, Torreira, Sara, Sallai, Yunus, Icardi, Osimhen
Kasımpaşa: Gianniotis, Winck, Opoku, Yasin, Rodrigues, Cafu, Aytaç, Barak, Ben Ouanes, Da Costa, Fall
