Galatasaray issues statement on Mauro Icardi 'detention': Claims had surfaced that Wanda Nara filed a complaint
It was alleged that Wanda Nara had filed a complaint against her ex-husband Mauro Icardi and that an Argentine court had imposed various sanctions on Icardi. While it was also claimed that the court had prohibited Icardi from disturbing Nara, a statement regarding the matter has come from Galatasaray.
The Argentine press reported that Wanda Nara had filed a complaint against Icardi, alleging that he was 'harassing her.'
It was alleged that the Galatasaray star striker had been detained.
Tensions between the two had escalated after Nara announced her relationship with rapper L-Gante.
According to information provided by Serkan Gazioğlu, following a complaint petition filed at the 106th Civil Court in Argentina, the court imposed certain sanctions on Mauro Icardi.
According to the ruling, Icardi is prohibited from directly or indirectly disturbing or intimidating Wanda Nara.
The court also ruled that Icardi must not prevent access to Nara's home on Avenida del Libertador.
An official summons was also sent for Icardi to attend the hearing scheduled for November 15.
FIRST STATEMENT FROM GALATASARAY
The statement issued by Galatasaray included the following:
"The speculations raised regarding our professional football player Mauro Icardi do not reflect the truth. Our player, Mauro Icardi, is resting at his home in Argentina.
We kindly request that these reports aimed at damaging our athlete's reputation be disregarded."
