Galatasaray leaves match with a draw after taking an early lead: Could not maintain its advantage
In the 7th week of the UEFA Europa League, Galatasaray faced Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv at home.
The Yellow-Reds found the goal in the 6th minute of the match played at Rams Park. Rising well to a corner kick taken by Dries Mertens, Davinson Sanchez scored with a header to put his team 1-0 ahead.
In the 21st minute of the match, Galatasaray extended the lead to 2. Abdülkerim Bardakcı's shot from outside the penalty area deflected off the Dynamo Kyiv defense and found the net: 2-0.

Dynamo Kyiv reduced the deficit to 1 with a goal scored by Vladyslav Vanat in the 44th minute of the match.
The first half of the contest ended with Galatasaray leading 2-1.

For the Yellow-Reds, Barış Alper Yılmaz received a second yellow card and was sent off in the 49th minute for a handball in the penalty area. Following a review prompted by a VAR alert, the referee canceled the red card and pointed to the penalty spot.
Victor Osimhen, who stepped up for the resulting penalty, made the score 3-1 in the 53rd minute.

The Ukrainian side found another goal in the 68th minute. Assisted by Oleksandr Pikhalonok, Andriy Yarmolenko scored to reduce the deficit to 1 in the match.
In the 81st minute, from a cross by Vitali Buyalsky, Andriy Yarmolenko leveled the match with a header inside the penalty area: 3-3.

Although Galatasaray pushed for a winning goal in the remainder of the match, the contest ended in a 3-3 draw.
Recording their 3rd consecutive draw in the Europa League, 'Cimbom' reached 13 points and sits in 6th place with a game in hand. Dynamo Kyiv, which earned its first point in its 7th match in the Europa League, remained in 36th place with 1 point.

In the 8th and final week of the Europa League league phase, Galatasaray will face Ajax away, while Dynamo Kyiv will host Rigas Skola.
