Galatasaray secures win ahead of derby
In the closing match of the 24th week of the Super Lig, Galatasaray faced Çaykur Rizespor away from home.
In the 39th minute of the match played at Çaykur Didi Stadium, the home team came very close to scoring. Ali Sowe's shot hit the post and bounced back into play.
The first half of the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
The second half of the match began with an almost immediate goal. In the 47th minute, Victor Osimhen scored with a header from a cross by Przemyslaw Frankowski, bringing the score to 1-0.

In the derby match to be played in the 25th week of the league, Galatasaray will face their closest follower, Fenerbahçe, at home. Rizespor will play away against Samsunspor.
