Galatasaray set to land new number 10

It has been reported that Galatasaray has accelerated its transfer efforts for Lokomotiv Moscow player Aleksey Batrakov. According to reports in the Russian press, the yellow-red club has submitted its official offer to the Russian team for the 20-year-old footballer.

According to Russian journalist Ivan Karpov, Galatasaray has offered Lokomotiv Moscow 25 million euros, excluding bonuses. It was stated that the offer could reach the 28 million euro level with bonuses included.

The report also claimed that Galatasaray has reached an agreement on personal terms with Batrakov. If the transfer is completed, the young player is expected to sign a 4-year contract with the yellow-red club, with an annual salary in the range of 3.5-4 million euros.

According to Championat, Galatasaray has proposed to cover the 25 million euro transfer fee with a payment plan spread over 5 years. This payment schedule was noted as one of the key topics in the negotiations between the clubs.

All eyes are now on the response from the Lokomotiv Moscow management regarding the transfer process. It was reported that Russian Railways President Oleg Belozerov will meet with the club's general manager, Vladimir Rotenberg, on Saturday at Lokomotiv Moscow's facilities in Bakovka to discuss the Batrakov file.

According to claims in the Russian press, Batrakov is also keen on a move to Galatasaray. It was suggested that there is a sell-on clause in the player's contract, and that Batrakov and his representatives are prepared to waive certain earnings to facilitate the move to the yellow-reds.
