Galatasaray signs 13-year-old young talent! His friends call him 'Little Modric'
Galatasaray continues its investment in its youth academy by signing young talent Ömer Özyurt from Altınordu for 6 million TL, with a 30 percent share from his future sale.
Galatasaray, which has won consecutive championships in the Süper Lig in recent years and added world-class players like Victor Osimhen and Leroy Sane to its squad, continues its transfer efforts without slowing down. In addition to strengthening the A-Team, the Yellow-Reds are taking steps for the future by making significant investments in their youth academy.
A NEW TALENT FROM ALTINORDU
Having transferred Mustafa Duru and Arda Yılmaz from Altınordu in recent weeks, Galatasaray has now added 2012-born young midfielder Ömer Özyurt to its squad. A fee of 6 million TL will be paid to the İzmir club Altınordu for this transfer, and they will receive a 30 percent share from the player's future sale.

KNOWN BY THE NICKNAME 'LITTLE MODRIC'
Despite his young age, Ömer Özyurt draws attention with his mature understanding of football and his skills. Compared to Luka Modric by his teammates and referred to as "Little Modric," Özyurt is seen as an important part of Galatasaray's youth academy investments. This transfer once again highlights the importance the Yellow-Reds place on young talents.
