Galatasaray star among the fastest in the world

In the research on the fastest center-backs conducted by CIES based on 28 leagues worldwide, Davinson Sanchez managed to break into the top three.

While Danilo from Juventus took the top spot, Tressoldi from Sassuolo is in second place. Davinson became the 3rd center-back with the most acceleration—meaning he changes his speed during the game—following these two names. The 27-year-old center-back ranks first in Turkey. Increasing his rate by 1.76, Sanchez left world stars behind.
Opoku from Başakşehir is 11th, and Baniya from Trabzonspor is 18th among the names that gained the most acceleration.
