Galatasaray star argues with a fan on social media!
Galatasaray's Ivorian star Wilfried Zaha responded to a comment telling him to "find yourself a new club."
Wilfried Zaha, who was signed at the start of the season by Galatasaray, the champions of the Süper Lig this season, failed to meet fan expectations.
Zaha, who missed the pre-season camp and suffered consecutive injuries, did not play his first full 90 minutes until January. A fan wrote to the star player, who finished the season with 42 matches, 10 goals, and 5 assists, on his X account: "Find yourself a new club. Every player who grumbles should be sold. You thought you were a star, but you were crushed by Turkish players. Do you think you deserve the money you earn?"
Zaha responded to the fan. The 31-year-old player said, "What about me being benched from January onwards, strangely, after I regained my form following a 4-month injury and started scoring goals every week? I've kept it inside long enough." Zaha later deleted this response.
