Galatasaray steps on the gas for Leao transfer

It is reported that Galatasaray, looking to strengthen their attacking line during the summer transfer window, has intensified contacts for Milan's Portuguese star Rafael Leao.

According to a report by TRT Spor, the yellow-reds have submitted their first official offer to Milan for the 27-year-old footballer. It is stated that the Italian club is not keen on a loan deal and has opened negotiations for a permanent transfer at the 50 million Euro level.

It is alleged that Galatasaray, which is also continuing talks with the player's side, has conveyed that it can meet Leao's salary demand of around 11-12 million Euros per year. The report notes that the yellow-reds have reached a certain level of agreement with the Portuguese footballer, but negotiations with Milan are ongoing.

It was also noted that Rafael Leao has sought information about the club and team environment from some of the players at Galatasaray. Whether the transfer will materialize will depend on the course of the transfer fee negotiations with Milan.
