Galatasaray submits squad to UEFA
Galatasaray has submitted the squad it will use in the Europa League to UEFA. The yellow-reds have added Berkan Kutlu, Serge Aurier, and Carlos Vinicius to the list.
Galatasaray has largely completed its work during the mid-season transfer window. The yellow-reds have so far made reinforcements to the two positions they deemed necessary.
Following the departure of Sacha Boey at right-back, Galatasaray added Serge Aurier to its squad for 4 months.
The yellow-reds, who sold Cedric Bakambu to Real Betis, filled the experienced player's spot by loaning Carlos Vinicius.
Angelino, who was loaned from Leipzig at the beginning of the season, also transferred to Roma. The Spanish footballer's license, along with those of Sacha Boey and Bakambu, was removed from the federation's system.
Thus, space was opened up for 3 foreign players in the squad. Galatasaray submitted its squad to UEFA ahead of the match against Sparta Prague in the Europa League play-off round.
The yellow-red team included new signings Aurier and Vinicius, as well as Berkan Kutlu, in its European squad.
Any new player joining the team will only be able to play in the league and the Ziraat Turkish Cup.
