Galatasaray wins against Sivasspor with first-half goals
In the 34th week of the Süper Lig, Galatasaray defeated Sivasspor 4-1 at home, extending their winning streak in the league to 4 matches.
Galatasaray found the opening goal in the 9th minute of the match played at Rams Park. Lucas Torreira scored to make it 1-0 after connecting well with a ball that rebounded off Sivasspor goalkeeper Ali Şaşal Vural following a shot by Victor Osimhen.
The yellow-reds extended the lead to 2 in the 15th minute. Victor Osimhen found the ball after it rebounded off the post from an Eren Elmalı shot and scored to bring the score to 2-0.
In the 21st minute, 'Cimbom' made it 3-0. Barış Alper Yılmaz, who won the ball from Sivasspor's Tolga Ciğerci, struck a fine shot to put the ball in the net: 3-0.
Galatasaray's Nigerian striker Osimhen took the stage once again in the 31st minute to make the score 4-0.
In the 33rd minute, Sivasspor reduced the deficit to 3. Rey Manaj, who met the ball in the penalty area following a pass from Tolga Ciğerci, scored to bring the score to 4-1.
The first half of the match concluded with a 4-1 lead for the home side.

OSIMHEN AND KOITA'S GOALS RULED OUT BY VAR
A goal scored by Galatasaray's Victor Osimhen in the 47th minute was disallowed following a VAR review due to offside.
A goal scored by Sivasspor's Fode Koita in the 89th minute was not validated after a VAR review due to a foul.
There were no further goals in the remainder of the match, and Galatasaray left the pitch with a 4-1 victory, securing 3 points.

EXTENDED THE POINT GAP TO 8 WITH A GAME IN HAND
Extending their winning streak in the league to 4 matches, Galatasaray reached 83 points and sits at the top of the table, 8 points ahead of their closest rival Fenerbahçe with a game in hand. Sivasspor remains at 34 points in 16th place.
Galatasaray will face Trabzonspor away next week in the league. Sivasspor will host Bodrum FK.
