Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray faced off in the big derby played in the 6th week of the Super League.

The visiting team, Galatasaray, was the one to find the net in the match hosted at Ülker Stadium.

In the 20th minute, Lucas Torreira's shot from outside the penalty area hit the post, deflected off the back of Fenerbahçe goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic, and went into the net.

The yellow-reds extended the lead to 2 just 8 minutes after this goal. Dries Mertens scored to make it 2-0 with a chip shot inside the penalty area after controlling a ball chested down by Osimhen.
