Galatasaray's response to Ali Koç

In the statement released by the yellow-red club, it was stated: "Projection in psychology: A defense mechanism where a person attributes their own negative emotions and unacceptable traits to others as if they existed in them.

We watched with regret and shame on their behalf the statements full of lies and slander made by those who, despite winning just 3 days ago through unfair refereeing decisions, constantly engage in victimhood narratives; those who try to intimidate everyone with anxiety and fear by stealing their opponents' points through unfair last-minute penalties and red cards awarded in their favor while being constantly protected by the TFF and referees; and who, instead of being embarrassed and remaining silent, once again attempted to usurp points in the Trabzonspor match with the mindset that 'all is fair to win.' It is our primary duty to explain all the lies of this person, who lies without blinking, to the public," the statement read.

WHAT DID ALI KOÇ SAY?

"I will remind you with lived examples of what a great existential threat Galatasaray is for Turkish football, not with imaginary enemies as they do. I will try to present to you the path that the Galatasaray president and executives have charted. I will share shortly that they are in the Champions League not only in football but also in evil, and that it has become a culture that everything is fair to win. In the end, the dirty relationships that have taken their place in the pages of history will be revealed."
