Galatasaray had placed Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Yann Sommer on their agenda to strengthen their squad during the transfer window. However, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio made significant statements regarding the potential transfer of these two players.
Regarding Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Ausilio stated, "We spoke with Galatasaray about Hakan and saw that it was impossible for us to reach an agreement. They tried, but it did not go beyond that. There is no problem on our end regarding Hakan." This statement revealed that Galatasaray could not make progress in the transfer of Çalhanoğlu.
THE SITUATION REGARDING YANN SOMMER
Speaking about Yann Sommer, Ausilio also said, "Yann Sommer was not close to Galatasaray. Nothing concrete happened. He is our goalkeeper and I expect him to stay with the team." These words indicate that Sommer will continue to remain at Inter.
Galatasaray's goals for this transfer window appear to have become difficult following these statements from the Inter side.
