Championship claim from Rıdvan Dilmen after the Hatayspor - Galatasaray match! 'I think they will be comfortable champions'

In the opening match of the 20th week of the Süper Lig, league leaders Galatasaray were guests of Hatayspor. The match, played in Mersin, ended in a 1-1 draw. With this result, Galatasaray increased their points tally to 51.

Sports commentator Rıdvan Dilmen evaluated the Hatayspor – Galatasaray match. Speaking on HT Spor, Dilmen made a prediction regarding the points needed for the championship.

Stating that the draw against Hatayspor was the biggest surprise result of the season for Galatasaray, Dilmen said, "Frankly, everyone, including myself, had already written 3 points for Galatasaray. They had at least 7-8 clear goal-scoring opportunities. Hatayspor went to a congress and made a fresh start with Murat Şahin; they were going to want to show resistance."

Touching upon the championship race between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, Dilmen continued as follows:

"Jose Mourinho and Fenerbahçe's calculations were also based on Galatasaray dropping points, but I don't think it will be this match. This unexpected loss of points has also become an indicator that it will lead to at least a four-goal victory in tomorrow's Adana Demirspor match.
