Claim that shook the sports agenda: Erdoğan is considering that name for TFF Presidency!
Journalist Ertuğrul Özkök has revealed the name that AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is considering for the TFF Presidency.
Claims that Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu will resign have dominated the sports agenda. The claim in question was brought up by journalist Tahir Kum.
Making a statement on the matter, TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu said, “The resignation news is not true. We have set out on a path. I will not let this many people down. There is no possibility of such a thing.”
While the resignation claim regarding Hacıosmanoğlu and its subsequent denial continue to occupy the sports agenda, a highly discussed claim has come from journalist Ertuğrul Özkök.
Speaking on the YouTube channel 343 Digital, Özkök revealed the name that AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is considering for the TFF Presidency.
CITED THE BASKETBALL FEDERATION AS AN EXAMPLE
In his statement, Özkök noted that President Erdoğan might take a similar step for the TFF by taking the appointments in the Basketball Federation as an example.
MESUT ÖZİL CLAIM FOR TFF PRESIDENCY!
Stating that Mesut Özil's career and international recognition present a suitable profile for this position, Özkök made the following remarks:
“I think the President has the idea in his mind of bringing Mesut Özil to the head of the TFF. They succeeded in this in the basketball federation. Mesut Özil draws such a profile.”
