INTER-WARD TOURNAMENT
According to information shared by sports lawyer Ercan Sevdimbaş, the footballers have requested that an inter-ward tournament be organized in the prison. It was reported that the players want to use this organization to spend their time in prison through sports.
MATCH PREPARATIONS BETWEEN C10 AND C17
According to the information obtained, it was learned that Metehan Baltacı is staying in the C10 ward and Mert Hakan Yandaş is in the C17 ward. It was stated that preparations have begun for the match planned to be played between the two wards.
MEETING HELD WITH PRISON ADMINISTRATION
It was reported that Metehan Baltacı made the request, stating, "We want to organize a five-a-side football match between the C10 and C17 wards. We have held meetings with the prison director for this."
It was stated that the match, which is expected to attract interest from other inmates in the prison, is planned to be played in an atmosphere reminiscent of the Galatasaray–Fenerbahçe rivalry. The match is anticipated to be one of the most notable events to be held between the wards.
In a previous statement, lawyer Ercan Sevdimbaş had also mentioned that the detained footballers were playing foot tennis matches among themselves in prison to stay in shape.
