In the investigation conducted into betting and match-fixing in football, WhatsApp conversations allegedly belonging to Fenerbahçe captain Mert Hakan Yandaş have drawn attention.

According to a report by Sabah, in his conversations with Ersen Dikmen, who is alleged to have placed bets on Yandaş's behalf, it was reported that Yandaş used the phrases, "Brother, can you send 5 thousand so I can bet on Bilyoner? I'm going to bet on Bodrum, thinking they will turn it around. 6.70 odds. I shouted at the facility for them to play and win," and also said, "delete the conversations, brother" in some parts.

"FENERBAHÇE IS THE ONLY ENTERTAINMENT" MESSAGE

It was noted that in the conversations dated December 28, 2024, Yandaş mentioned a winning betting slip; Dikmen responded by saying, "And they lost by a large margin," to which Yandaş replied, "Unbelievable."

It was stated that to Dikmen's message, "Anyway, the matter is closed now," Yandaş replied, "Yes, it is finished," and then Dikmen said, "We'll find other entertainment."

At this point, it is alleged that Yandaş sent the message, "Exactly, Fenerbahçe is the only entertainment," which is known as a slogan used by rival fans.

In another conversation dated January 8, 2025, it was seen that Yandaş said, "Brother, can you send 5 thousand so I can bet on Bilyoner? I'll send it to you tomorrow, is that okay?"; Dikmen responded to this by saying, "What sending, we have a lot of debts."

It was stated that Yandaş then said, "Oh, that's not important. I'm going to bet on Bodrum, thinking they will turn it around."

It was reported that Dikmen later sent the message, "I sent it," and Yandaş replied, "6.70 odds. I shouted at the facility for them to play and win."

It was alleged that in some parts of the conversations, Yandaş said, "Delete the conversations, brother," and Dikmen replied, "I'm deleting them."
