According to a report by the Italian outlet Tuttosport, it was stated that Bernardo Silva has reached a principle agreement with Barcelona.

The report stated that the Portuguese footballer has agreed to sign for nearly half of the annual salary he earns at Manchester City. This decision is attributed to his desire to continue his career at the Spanish giant.

It was noted that the final details are being discussed to complete the transfer, and the final decision will be made by Barcelona manager Hansi Flick.

GALATASARAY WAS ALSO MONITORING

It was claimed that Galatasaray, which continues its transfer planning for the new season, was also closely interested in the 31-year-old footballer and had submitted an official offer. However, it was stated that the player is close to choosing Barcelona.

Bernardo Silva, who began his football career in the Benfica youth academy, was promoted to the first team in 2014. The player, who was loaned to Monaco the same year and later transferred to the French team permanently, signed with Manchester City in 2017 for 50 million euros.

Throughout his career, Silva has played in 643 official matches, recording 111 goals and 103 assists.
