He was the victim of an armed attack: Serhat Akın is returning to the screen!
Former national football player and football commentator Serhat Akın, who remained away from the screen while undergoing treatment for some time after being the victim of an armed attack, is making a comeback. Akın's pointed remarks in the promotional video drew attention.
Serhat Akın, who was the victim of an armed attack on the evening of September 26 while leaving the YouTube channel Sports Digitale, where he works as a commentator, in Beykoz, Istanbul, had bid farewell to the screen for a while.
Akın, who underwent treatment, decided to return to the screen after a 3.5-month break.
Sharing a post on his X account, Akın announced that he will be a guest on the Digitalks program on Sports Digitale this evening (January 10) at 20:00.
Akın added the note, "We will stand up together, God willing. I am glad you exist, I am glad," to his post.
The pointed expressions used by Serhat Akın in the program's promotional video drew attention.
Akın said the following:
"I am 43 years old, this was probably the biggest test I have ever experienced. It was a very difficult process with my mother and my family, but it had to be experienced. We will know how to stand up from here. Someone said, 'If it is because of gambling, stop talking about Fenerbahçe.' Okay. If it is not, will you quit?
For me, he is dead, it is over for me, I have buried him. I am not a vengeful person, but once I bury someone, it is over for me. God created me to fight; I cannot change my destiny."
Hep beraber ayağa kalkacağız inşallah. İyi ki varsınız iyi ki 💛💙 pic.twitter.com/3oBVuiQQJb
