New details emerge in armed attack on Serhat Akın! 'Shoot' order came from Georgia

Serhat Akın, a former player for the Turkish National Team and Fenerbahçe, was the victim of an armed attack in Kavacık following a program where he appeared as a commentator.

Sharing a post on his social media account, Akın wrote, "They shot me in the feet as I was leaving the program; our final word is Fenerbahçe."

Akın had stated in previous programs that he had been threatened.

The gunman and 4 individuals who assisted him have been apprehended in the armed attack targeting Akın.

Security forces examining security camera footage tracked the suspects who fled the scene on a motorcycle. Continuing their efforts along the motorcycle's escape route, the teams determined that a car was also used in the incident. The teams tracking the suspects identified the address where the vehicle was located.

Police officers who raided the address in Tuzla where the vehicle was located apprehended E.Ü. and M.A., who were in the vehicle at the time of the incident. Continuing their investigation, police teams captured the attacker who pulled the trigger, Ozan D., the motorcycle driver Osman M., and I.T., who acted in coordination with them.

MOTORCYCLE LICENSE PLATE WAS STOLEN

According to a report by Yenişafak, the handgun used in the incident was also seized along with the suspects. It was determined that the license plate of the motorcycle used by the suspects in the incident was also stolen.

THEY COMMITTED THE SHOOTING FOR 250 THOUSAND LIRA

A witness statement revealed the motive behind the incident. The witness, who explained that they met with Ozan D., the person who used the weapon in the attack, and his friends after the incident, said, "Ozan said they shot a man in exchange for 250 thousand TL. Their relative, Hasan Ş., had given them this job."

THE INSTIGATOR HAS 10 CRIMINAL RECORDS

The criminal records of the suspects detained in the incident turned out to be extensive. It was determined that the suspect identified as the instigator, Hasan Ş., has 10 separate criminal records, primarily for murder, assault, and suspicious death.

It has been determined that Hasan Ş., who is the subject of 4 separate arrest warrants, is a fugitive in Georgia. It was revealed that Ozan Dalmaz, who used the weapon, has a criminal record for 'auto theft,' and Osman M. has one for 'intentional injury.' It was also determined that M.A. has 7 separate criminal records, including for 'assault,' while İ.T. has 3 separate records for 'assault.'
