Former president Fikret Orman, whose name has been mentioned as a potential candidate for the Black and White club, made statements during a television program he attended.

Calling for unity within the Beşiktaş community, Orman sent a message of support for the team.

Participating in a live broadcast on TV100 via phone, Fikret Orman said, "Why would a former president, and one who has resigned at that, chase the Beşiktaş presidency? Now everyone is giving examples of Aziz Yıldırım or Dursun Özbek. That might be because both of them entered elections while they were already presidents. I have resigned; why would I be in a position to chase the Beşiktaş presidency? I have no situation of being a candidate at Beşiktaş, nor am I chasing it," he stated.

'I AM NOT A MAN WHO LOOKS FOR OPPORTUNITIES'

Stating, "I will be there when Beşiktaş needs me," Orman said, "But we need to talk more about Beşiktaş's match on Monday, the match the following week, and the process leading up to May, rather than a vicious cycle like 'are you a candidate or not.' I am not a man who looks for opportunities. Serdal's name is also mentioned, he is the same. We stand there if it is in the interest of Beşiktaş."

'WILL WE BENEFIT BEŞİKTAŞ BY BADMOUTHING?'

Saying that the new president Hüseyin Yücel and the management should be supported, Orman said, "We all need to support this new board of directors, the new president, and his colleagues. Hüseyin Yücel could have resigned, but he did not. He says, 'We will fight.' What will we do, will we benefit Beşiktaş by badmouthing? No! We will support him. Calling for the team to be supported in the Hatayspor match to be played on Monday, Fikret Orman said, "Beşiktaş needs to go out on the field on Monday to win. Beşiktaş's squad is not a bad squad.
