Gençlerbirliği completes its first transfer
Gençlerbirliği has announced that it has signed a preliminary agreement with Halit Yılmaz, who plays for Türkgücü München.
Gençlerbirliği, a team in the Trendyol 1st League, has signed a preliminary agreement with midfielder Halit Yılmaz from the German 4th League side Türkgücü München.
In a statement from the red-and-black club, it was stated: "Gençlerbirliği, having signed a cooperation agreement with Germany's Türkgücü München regarding players, coaches, and information exchange, has added midfielder Halit Yılmaz from the German representative to its ranks. The capital city team has signed a 3.5-year preliminary agreement with the 20-year-old player."
The signing ceremony at the Beştepe İlhan Cavcav Facilities was attended by player Halit Yılmaz, as well as Gençlerbirliği Club President Niyazi Akdaş, Vice President Arif Ölmez, Vice President in charge of administrative affairs Mehmet Soylu, Türkgücü München Club President Serdar Yılmaz, Vice President Muhammed Çoban, and the player's family.
