Gençlerbirliği moves toward incorporation
Gençlerbirliği Club will head to a general assembly with the agenda of "incorporation."
The Gençlerbirliği Club Board of Directors has decided to hold a general assembly to obtain authorization from delegates regarding incorporation.
In a statement from the club, it was said, "Our board of directors, meeting under the leadership of our president Niyazi Akdaş, has reached a decision to hold a general assembly meeting with the agenda of authorizing the incorporation of Gençlerbirliği Sports Club, the establishment of Gençlerbirliği A.Ş. in accordance with the new sports law, and the transfer of the assets and liabilities of the football branch to the newly established Gençlerbirliği A.Ş."
It was stated that the general assembly meeting will be held on Sunday, December 31, at 10:00 AM at the Beştepe İlhan Cavcav Facilities.
It was further stated that if a majority is not reached at the first meeting, the general assembly will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Halil Rıfat Paşa Conference Hall at the General Directorate of Highways of Turkey, with a three-quarters majority.
