Before their upcoming Süper Lig match against Galatasaray, Çaykur Rizespor has added Croatian goalkeeper Ivo Grbic, who plays for Sheffield United, to its squad on a 1-year loan deal.

In a written statement released by the club, it was stated: "Our club Çaykur Rizespor has added goalkeeper Ivo Grbic from Sheffield United to its squad. Following the agreement reached with Sheffield United, 28-year-old goalkeeper Ivo Grbic underwent a medical examination. Grbic then signed a 1-year loan agreement. We welcome our new signing Grbic and wish him success."
