Football commentator and former national player Gökmen Özdenak has been admitted to intensive care following a health emergency at his home. It was reported that the 78-year-old's heart stopped twice.
Former footballer and sports commentator Gökmen Özdenak has been admitted to intensive care due to a serious health problem.

According to the information obtained, Özdenak's heart stopped twice. Özdenak, who was resuscitated following the intervention of medical teams, continues to receive treatment at the hospital.
As reported by Sözcü, the 78-year-old Özdenak was without breath for approximately 40 minutes at his home on December 29, and his pulse stopped. After being resuscitated by medical teams called to the scene, Özdenak was taken to the intensive care unit.
It was stated that Özdenak, who is known to suffer from COPD, remains in critical condition.
WHO IS GÖKMEN ÖZDENAK?
One of the important figures in Turkish football and Galatasaray history, Gökmen Özdenak began his football career at İstanbulspor. Transferring to Galatasaray in 1967 at the age of 20, Özdenak wore the yellow-red jersey for 13 years.
Ending his active football career in 1980, Özdenak played in 327 matches and scored 105 goals throughout his career. Appearing in 297 matches for Galatasaray, he scored 99 goals in those games. He also played for the National Team 14 times.
After retiring from football, Gökmen Özdenak worked as a commentator and appeared before football fans for many years on the program Telegol.
