Göztepe lifts the championship trophy!
Göztepe, which finished the TFF 1st League in 2nd place behind Eyüpspor, lifted its championship trophy at Gürsel Aksel Stadium following the Bodrum FK match played on the final week of the league.
TFF 1st League side Göztepe, which had guaranteed its promotion to the Süper Lig weeks ago, drew 1-1 with Bodrum FK at Gürsel Aksel Stadium in the 34th and final week of the season, and received its trophy after the match.
Immediately after the match, a giant platform was set up on the pitch. Executives, the technical staff, personnel, and players were announced one by one and invited to the platform amidst music and light shows. The players and technical staff who took the stage danced and celebrated with great enthusiasm.
Turkish Football Federation President Mehmet Büyükekşi and Göztepe President Rasmus Ankersen also went up to the platform together. President Büyükekşi presented the trophy to team captains Atınç, İsmail, and Yalçın. After the trophy was lifted, the players toured the stands and fully enjoyed the excitement of the Süper Lig promotion.
On the other hand, athletes competing in Olympic branches also toured the stands before the trophy ceremony.
