Haaland and Vedat Muriqi secure victories in Nations League
The 2026-2027 season of the UEFA Nations League has kicked off with matches played. Eight matches were held in the first week of European football's national team-level organization.
In the standout League A Group 2 match of the night, the Netherlands and Germany drew 1-1 with goals from Felix Nmecha and Cody Gakpo.
In League A Group 4, Norway defeated Denmark 3-2 at home with goals from Oscar Bobb and Erling Haaland (2). The visiting team's goals came from Mikkel Damsgaard and Rasmus Hojlund.
In League B Group 3, Kosovo beat the Republic of Ireland 1-0 with a goal scored by Fenerbahçe forward Vedat Muriqi.
