Hacıosmanoğlu's statement on illegal broadcasting: We will stop them
During the sponsorship agreement signing ceremony between the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and Nesine, TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu and Clubs Association President Ali Koç made significant statements regarding the future of Turkish football.
Turkish Football Federation President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu spoke at the sponsorship agreement ceremony between the TFF and Nesine, emphasizing that illegal broadcasts negatively impact football revenue.
Hacıosmanoğlu stated, "Since the moment we were elected, we have been conducting serious work on combating illegal broadcasting. Our goal is to completely block illegal broadcasts and protect broadcasting revenues, which are the biggest source of income for football."
ETHICAL SUCCESS IS IMPORTANT IN FOOTBALL
Hacıosmanoğlu stated that Turkish football should focus not only on on-field success but also on ethical success, adding:
"When one team becomes champion, other teams are considered failures. This mindset lowers the brand value of football. We want to instill in Turkish football the awareness that we must create a common ground off the field, as well as competition on the field."

'WE WILL INCREASE THE BRAND VALUE OF FOOTBALL'
The TFF President stated that increasing the brand value of football is the responsibility not only of the federation but also of club presidents, saying, "As our sponsors increase, our chances of carrying the brand value of football to where it deserves will also increase. We will work together to bring Turkish football to better points."
I CONDEMN THE ATTACK ON SERHAT AKIN
Addressing the armed attack on former national football player Serhat Akın, Hacıosmanoğlu said, "We want football to serve peace and brotherhood. We are against all forms of violence. I condemn the attack on Serhat Akın." Hacıosmanoğlu emphasized that the federation will be transparent and stated that there will be no point left unknown to the public.
'WE WILL TRAIN YOUNG REFEREES'
Making important statements regarding referees, Hacıosmanoğlu said, "We encountered many problems when we took over football. However, we will eliminate these problems by training our young referees as soon as possible. We requested support from UEFA, and they appointed a permanent coordinator. Our goal is to minimize errors on and off the field."
'THE TURKISH FOOTBALL ECONOMY HAS BECOME UNSUSTAINABLE'
Clubs Association President Ali Koç made important statements regarding the economic situation of Turkish football.
Koç said, "The Turkish football economy has become unsustainable. Broadcasting revenues have fallen from 500 million dollars to 96 million dollars, taxes have risen, exchange rates have increased, and factors like the pandemic have negatively affected football. These problems developed outside the control of the clubs."

'AS BRAND VALUE INCREASES, SPONSORS WILL COME'
Ali Koç stated that it is important to attract the interest of sponsors by increasing the brand value of Turkish football and concluded his words as follows:
"We must provide the right environment for sponsors to enter here willingly. We must create a robust and sustainable economy to achieve lasting success both in UEFA and in our own league."
