Hakan Çalhanoğlu, linked with Fenerbahçe, breaks his silence!
Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who has been linked with Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe—and even rumored to be open to a move to Fenerbahçe—has broken his silence.
National football player Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who plays for Inter, spoke about his future at the club ahead of the new season.
While in Istanbul for a short visit, Çalhanoğlu's name was linked first to Galatasaray and then to Fenerbahçe.
It had been claimed that the national player was open to joining Fenerbahçe if the transfer fee issue could be resolved.
The 32-year-old midfielder, who left Istanbul for Italy, has joined Inter's training camp.
Speaking there, Hakan Çalhanoğlu stated that he was pleased to be back with the team.
Regarding the transfer rumors, the national player noted the following:
"I am happy to be back, I missed Inter a lot. I am ready now. Transfer rumors happen every summer, this year there were a bit more. I didn't say anything; I waited to return here to speak. I am happy, I am an Inter player, and I have always said that I want to continue here. My goal is to win trophies here."
