FIFA-licensed referee Halil Umut Meler will officiate the UEFA Champions League match between Portuguese side Benfica and Dutch side Feyenoord, to be played on Wednesday, October 23.
FIFA-licensed referee Halil Umut Meler will blow the whistle in the Champions League match between Benfica and Feyenoord.
In the match, which will start at 20:00 on the evening of October 23 at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, Portugal, Meler will be assisted by Kerem Ersoy and İbrahim Çağlar Uyarcan. The fourth official of the match will be Arda Kardeşler.
Luca Pairetto from the Italian Football Federation will serve as VAR, and Catalin Sorin Popa from the Romanian Football Federation will serve as AVAR in the match.
Meler last officiated a match in the Champions League on September 17, 2024, between Real Madrid and Stuttgart.
