Halkbank gets off to a poor start at the Club World Championship

The Halkbank Men's Volleyball Team was defeated 3-0 by Japan's Suntory Sunbirds in their first match at the 2023 Club World Championship, held in Bengaluru, India.
Halkbank will play their second match in Group B against Brazil's Sada Cruzeiro Volei on Friday, December 8, at 14:30 TSI.
Six teams are competing in the tournament, divided into two groups of three.
Following the group matches, the top two teams will advance to the semifinals.
The winner of Group A will play the runner-up of Group B, and the winner of Group B will play the runner-up of Group A in the semifinals.
The semifinals of the tournament will be held on Saturday, December 9, and the final match will take place on Sunday, December 10.
Group A of the championship features Ahmedabad Defenders (India), Sir Sicoma Perugia (Italy), and Itambe Minas (Brazil).
