It has been claimed that Fenerbahçe has reached a principle agreement with Italian Serie A side Napoli regarding the transfer of Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku.
According to a report by HT Spor, the Yellow-Navy Blues have shaken hands with Napoli for the 33-year-old footballer for 6 million euros plus bonuses. If the transfer becomes official, Lukaku will be one of the most notable additions to Fenerbahçe's attacking line.
While it is noted that Fenerbahçe has added Vedat Muriqi, Nathan Ake, and Mason Greenwood to their squad during this transfer window, the move for Lukaku is also being evaluated as a new step in the Yellow-Navy Blues' squad restructuring.
Lukaku, who has played for clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Inter, and Roma in his career, is considered one of the experienced strikers in European football. An official announcement regarding the potential transfer of the Belgian player to Fenerbahçe is expected to come from the clubs.
