A statement has come from Vincent Aboubakar, one of the 5 players excluded from the squad at Beşiktaş.

Making a statement on his social media account, the Cameroonian center-forward used the following words;

"Let's put an end to these ridiculous accusations. I have not had any hair treatment this season. I had my hair treated after last season ended and before the pre-season started. This season, I have not had any arguments or undisciplined behavior with anyone at the club. I have scored 11 goals and provided 3 assists this season. I scored 13 goals in the second half of last season. And most importantly, I give all my effort and concentration to the team every minute I am under contract. The club has already re-evaluated the situation and sent an email. Stop making baseless accusations that could be the subject of legal cases, and let me do my job."
