Has Mauro Icardi retired from football? Agent Elio Pino addresses Lazio and Juventus rumors
Following his departure from Galatasaray, Mauro Icardi has yet to determine his new club, and his agent Elio Pino has made notable statements regarding his situation.
After his contract with Galatasaray expired and he left the yellow-red club, the question of how Mauro Icardi will continue his career remains a subject of curiosity. With the transfer window now closed in Europe, the Argentine striker's options have narrowed, and his agent Elio Pino has shared his assessments regarding his future.
It has been stated that Icardi has not retired from football and is continuing his search for a new club. Pino, the representative for the experienced forward, indicated that they are working on career planning for the player for the upcoming period.

Arriving at Galatasaray in September 2022, Icardi became one of the team's most effective attacking players during his time with the Istanbul side. The Argentine footballer appeared in 134 official matches in the yellow-red jersey, finding the back of the net 77 times.
Elio Pino stated that Lazio from Italy has shown serious interest in Icardi and that the Rome-based club is among the alternatives being considered. Icardi's name had previously been linked with Juventus as well.
In a statement to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Pino also addressed the Juventus rumors, confirming that there is a possibility of Icardi wearing a Juventus jersey in January.
