The investigation into allegations of illegal betting in the football world continues to expand. Within the framework of the operation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Eyüpspor President Murat Özkaya is among those detained on charges of "influencing the outcome of a match."
Along with Özkaya, the statements of the 18 people in custody have been completed at the police station. After their health checks, Özkaya and the other suspects were taken back to the police station and will be referred to the courthouse tomorrow morning at 08:00.
