The Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) has issued a message of support for Ergin Ataman, the head coach of Panathinaikos and the Turkish Men's National Basketball Team, who was threatened by a member of the Israeli team's coaching staff following the Panathinaikos-Maccabi Tel Aviv match in the EuroLeague play-offs.
In the second game of the EuroLeague play-off series, the Greek team Panathinaikos defeated the visiting Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv 95-79, bringing the series to 1-1.
Following the match, Ergin Ataman, Head Coach of the Turkish Men's National Basketball Team and Panathinaikos, announced that he had been threatened by a member of the Israeli team's coaching staff.
The Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) expressed its support for Ergin Ataman in a message posted on its social media account.
