With this offer, Fenerbahçe has moved ahead of the Greek giant Olympiacos, which had shown similar interest.
Chema de Lucas, one of the reliable reporters in the basketball world, announced that the parties are very close to an agreement. Italian reporter Matteo Andreani also stated that both Fenerbahçe and Olympiacos made offers to Micic for the same duration, but Fenerbahçe has taken the lead in financial terms.
