Honorary membership for Devlet Bahçeli from Fatih Karagümrük!

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli held a meeting with Fatih Karagümrük Sports Club President Süleyman Hurma and his accompanying delegation.

The delegation accompanying Hurma was also among the participants during the meeting.

According to the statement made by the MHP, Club President Hurma and his delegation visited Bahçeli and provided information regarding the club.

During the visit, which took place at the party headquarters, an honorary membership certificate was presented to Bahçeli.

WHAT HAPPENED

Last year, Bahçeli announced that he had resigned from his membership in the Beşiktaş Club due to "Government resign" chants in the stands, but it was later revealed that his membership had already lapsed due to non-payment of dues. Following this, Bahçeli announced that he had become a member of the Karagümrük Club.

STADIUM PROMISE WAS MADE

MHP Deputy Chairman İsmail Özdemir had previously announced that Bahçeli would support the Fatih Karagümrük Sports Club's stadium project.

Quoting the official account of Karagümrük, Özdemir had used the following expressions:

“Our leader, who gives a distinguished place to the logo and plaque of the Karagümrük Sports Club in his office, is ready to provide all kinds of support for the stadium project, which is the rightful demand and expectation of the Karagümrük Sports Club.”
