Hull City and İstanbulspor face off in friendly match
Hull City, a representative of the English Championship, defeated Trendyol 1st League side İstanbulspor 2-1 in a friendly match.
Hull City, the English Championship team owned by Acun Ilıcalı, is continuing its preparations for the 2025-2026 season at the TFF Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities in Riva.
As part of their camp program, the English side faced off against Trendyol 1st League team İstanbulspor in a friendly match. In the 45+1st minute of the match, which began with mutual attacks from both teams, İstanbulspor took a 1-0 lead with a goal scored by Mustafa Sol.
The first half ended with İstanbulspor leading 1-0. Hull City, which drew attention with a more controlled game in the second half, left the pitch with a 2-1 victory thanks to goals scored by Kyle Joseph in the 67th minute and Pharrell Brown in the 89th minute.
The match was also attended by Hull City Chairman Acun Ilıcalı, İstanbulspor Chairman Ecmel Faik Sarıalioğlu, and Hull City fans who traveled from England.
