Acun Ilıcalı's team Hull City continues its search for a new manager.
After parting ways with Liam Rosenior, the number one managerial candidate currently on the agenda for Hull City is Tim Walter. The club's owner, Acun Ilıcalı, and vice chairman Tan Kesler have held discussions with Walter.
STATEMENT ON THE MANAGER FROM TAN KESLER
Speaking to Hull Live regarding these discussions, Tan Kesler said, "We always say we are looking for unique managers who are unpredictable, can take risks, and can create our own culture and identity. Tim Walter is one of the names on our list of candidates and is a strong candidate. He represented that unpredictability and risk-taking. During his time at Hamburg, he changed the team's identity. With the style of play he implemented, he brought the fans back to the stadium and increased attendance. He is a dominant figure; he fits our style of play. This is a development and progress for us. He is a great personality, a leader. He doesn't have experience in the Championship, but he has experience in the Bundesliga and Bundesliga II, and he has a Bayern Munich background. He is a good candidate," he stated.
Most recently serving at Hamburg, Walter left his position at the German club in February.
