The process that began with the arrest of former Central Referee Committee (MHK) Chairman Ferhat Gündoğdu and his delegation at the Turkish Football Federation has brought discussions regarding the federation's management back to the agenda.
Following the detention of active Süper Lig referee Yasin Kol, all eyes turned to TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, who denied claims that he would resign at the meeting scheduled for Tuesday.
Speaking to journalist Mehmet Arslan, Hacıosmanoğlu stated that he would not step down, saying: “I will not resign. Have you not gotten to know me yet? You cannot dump 30 years of filth in Turkish football on me. We will continue our fight for clean football.”
While the football community awaits the decisions to be made following Tuesday's meeting, uncertainty remains regarding whether the leagues will be postponed.
