Icardi's surgery schedule finalized
Galatasaray Club Doctor Yener İnce made statements regarding Mauro Icardi's injury status. İnce announced that Icardi will undergo surgery in Argentina.
It has been announced that Argentine striker Mauro Icardi, who suffered a severe injury during the UEFA Europa League match against Tottenham and was declared out for the season, will undergo surgery in his home country.
The following statement was made by Galatasaray Club:
"You know he is in Argentina. We decided for the surgery to take place there to avoid any disruptions in the rehabilitation process in the coming period. He will have his surgery on Monday. Galatasaray Club is trying to do the best it can with the resources it has. We told Mauro that we could perform this surgery anywhere in the world he wanted. We decided for Mauro to spend his rehabilitation process there."
