Ignoring his 37 years: An impressive performance from Muslera!

Living his 13th season at Galatasaray, Muslera is experiencing one of the best periods of his career.

The experienced goalkeeper, who has conceded 14 goals in the 25 matches he has played in the Süper Lig, has achieved an average of 0.56 goals per game, marking his best performance compared to previous seasons.

In his first season with the yellow-reds (2011-12), where he won the championship, Muslera conceded an average of 0.7 goals per game, a record he has now managed to surpass.

Muslera's goals-conceded-per-game averages were 0.73 in the 2019-20 season, 0.79 in the 2022-23 season, and 0.86 in the 2013-14 season.

THE 3RD GOALKEEPER IN EUROPE TO CONCEDE THE FEWEST GOALS

Muslera has entered the top 3 among goalkeepers who have conceded the fewest goals per game in Europe's leading leagues this season.

The Uruguayan goalkeeper, when considering goalkeepers who have played at least 20 matches in their domestic leagues, ranked in the top 3 alongside Argentine Walter Benitez from the Dutch team PSV and Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer from the Italian team Inter.

Benitez, who has conceded 10 goals, achieved an average of 0.45, Sommer, who has conceded 12 goals, achieved 0.5, and Muslera, who could not prevent 14 goals, maintained an average of 0.56 per game.
