Galatasaray Women's Volleyball Team Captain İlkin Aydın did not hold the banner marking the 180th anniversary of the Turkish Police Service, which was held by the match officials, her teammates, and her opponents while greeting the stands on the court before the match against Fenerbahçe.
Fenerbahçe, which finished the regular season of the Sultanlar Ligi as the leader, was a guest of Galatasaray in the first match of the play-off semi-finals. Galatasaray team captain İlkin Aydın did not hold the banner marking the 180th anniversary of the Turkish Police Service that was opened during the ceremony.
İlkin Aydın had previously supported protests following the conviction of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.
