Fenerbahçe's Brazilian midfielder Fred spoke about his future at the club following the 6-0 victory over İstanbulspor.
Fenerbahçe, which defeated İstanbulspor 6-0 at home in the 38th week of the Süper Lig, finished the season in second place with 99 points.
Brazilian player Fred, who played a key role in Fenerbahçe's midfield this season, made statements following the İstanbulspor victory.
Stating that they experienced difficulties throughout the season, Fred said, "It is not easy to lose the championship; it is difficult, but we also had challenges during the season. Injuries, suspensions... There were also situations where I was unfairly suspended," he said.
Speaking about his future, Fred stated, "We need to keep our heads up. We apologize to the fans. We must do better next season. My contract is ongoing. I feel like I belong here with all my focus."
