Trabzonspor's medical board chairman Ahmet Beşir made a statement regarding the health status of Trezeguet, who could not return for the second half of the match.

Beşir stated, "Following the examination and MRI scan of our player Mahmoud Trezeguet, who felt pain during our A-team's match against EMS Yapı Sivasspor and was substituted at halftime, an injury was detected in his left hamstring muscle. Our medical team has begun the player's treatment."
